Ancaster Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy which can be viewed by clicking the link above and also from within Policies section of our website.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare.

We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.

Our Designated Senior Lead (DSL) for safeguarding is Mr Sam Eden (Headteacher). Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL) for safeguarding are Mrs Maxine Woods (Deputy Headteacher) and Mrs Debra Moore (School Business Leader).  Our Safeguarding Governor is Julia Nadarajah and the Chair of Governors, Sally McDowall.

If you have a concern regarding a child, discussing the concern with the contacts listed above could help support your decisions on reporting any concerns to Lincolnshire Children's Safeguarding Board Customer Services.

To report a safeguarding concern to the Customer Services Centre, call 01522 782111.

Outside of office hours you can contact the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) on 01522 782333.
