Well-being and Support

At Ancaster Church of England Primary School, we are committed to supporting the emotional health and well-being of our staff and pupils. We understand that there will be times when everyone experiences life challenges and may require additional emotional support. We firmly believe that positive mental health is everybody's business and everyone has an important role to play.

At Ancaster Church of England Primary School, we:

  • help children to understand their emotions and feelings better
  • help children feel comfortable sharing any concerns or worries
  • help children socially to form and maintain relationships
  • promote self esteem and ensure children know that they count
  • encourage children to be confident and be the best they can be.
  • help children to develop emotional resilience and to manage setbacks
